A : Go straight ahead until you get to Main Street.  Take the first left after the light.  Keep going until you get to the intersection.  Turn right and the cinema will be on the left, opposite the supermarket.

Allez tout droit jusqu'à Main Street.  Prenez la première à gauche après le feu.  Continuez jusqu'au carrefour.  Tournez à droite et le cinéma se trouvera à gauche, en face du supermarché. 

Q : Could you please tell me how to get to the library ?

Pourriez-vous me dire comment aller à la bibliothèque, s'il vous plaît ?

A : Of course.  Go back to Elm Street and continue straight ahead.  Take the second right after the intersection.  The library is next to the fire station.

Bien sûr.  Retournez à Elm Street et continuez tout droit.  Prenez la deuxième à droite après le carrefour.  La bibliothèque est à côté de la caserne de pompiers.

Q : Pardon me.  Do you know how to get to the train station?

Pardonnez-moi.  Sauriez-vous comment aller à la gare ?

A : Yes.  Keep going straight ahead until the end of the street.  Turn left and continue until the bakery.  Go right and cross the street.  The train station is near the police station.

Oui.  Continuez tout droit jusqu'à la fin de la rue.  Tournez à gauche et continuez jusqu'à la boulangerie.  Allez à droite et traversez la rue.  La gare est près du commissariat.

Q : Do you know where a laundromat ?  Savez-vous où se trouve la laverie ?

A : Yes, there's one behind the bakery.  Oui, il y en a une derrière la boulangerie.
